Every couple of months it’s a good idea to look back at your recent poker play to analyze your game. Here are a few boxes to tick off:
- Are you watching others at the table? Are there patterns you can take advantage of?
- Do you overvalue top pair in a crowded field?
- Try to remember the big hands you lost and ask why.
- Did you mix up your game?
- Are you patient?
Start with these questions and methodically study your performance. There’s always room for improvement.
