A friend recently asked me that question. Background: he’s a good player but very loose. My answer was, “You bled chips.” The thought that it’s only another buck or two, goes through his mind whenever he calls with cards he’d never play in a no limit game. So, at the end of the night, he’s made 20 poor calls because it was cheap to see another card. That adds up. Summation: one tends to be more careful in a no limit game because a loose call may lead to a big re-raise or an all in bet. Not so in a limit game. That led to the $50 loss, Amigo.
