Every once in awhile, a player will show their cards to a neighbor before mucking them It might be friendly, but it’s not kosher. Here’s the short version of what the Tournament Directors Association has to say about it. “Players, whether in the hand or not, must not disclose contents of live or folded hands with another player. Further, all players are entitled to receive equal access to the information.” One hint…ask nicely to see the card or question the dealer.
