Mitch Cox earned his entrance into Casino 99’s Player of the Year (POY)
tournament for the past 4 years and currently looks like a lock for a seat at the
2024 event. That’s an indication of a pretty good NLH player. Mitch prefers
tournaments to cash games. Why? He likes the structure: equal starting stacks
for all (hopefully with no rebuys). In a cash game, other players may have a
much larger bankroll and can keep reloading. Mitch keeps a win/loss ledger,
including tournament buy-in prices and notes. His favorite hand is J-9 suited.
Mitch is a CSU alum majoring in Information and Communications with a minor in
English. He earned a masters degree at USF in Sports Management.
