Steel Wheel – Definition: A five high straight flush (A-2-3-4-5 of the same suit). The odds are 1 in 32,000+ hands. Although it contains an Ace, it is only considered a five high hand, since the Ace plays low. It’s a magic hand in high-low Omaha; highly likely a scoop (but not always). One showed up in a WPT Deep Stacks Tournament I played in Reno. I was quartered with my perfect low. My opponent split the low and won high.
